Advizo: Astrology Chat & Call (the “App”) is developed and operated by Fossil Apps (“we”, “us”, “our”). The App lets merchants offer chat, voice and video consultations with experts and provides astrology tools on their online store. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and shared when a merchant installs or uses the App, and when the merchant’s customers and consultants use the App’s features.
1. Information the App collects
a) Merchant information collected through the platform’s APIs
- Store name, domain/URL, store owner name and email address, country, currency and plan.
- An access token for the permissions you approved, and theme information needed for app blocks.
- Customer and order information needed to confirm paid consultations (for example customer name, email address and the order for a consultation).
b) Information provided by merchants and consultants
- Consultant profiles: name, photo, expertise, languages, bio, pricing and availability.
- App settings and content you add, such as banners and page text.
- Support messages, including name and email address.
c) Information from the merchant’s customers
- Account and contact details: name, email address and phone number (if provided).
- Birth details entered into astrology tools: date, time and place of birth, and the names entered for Kundli matching.
- Consultation data: chat messages and attachments, session type, start and end times, duration, and the consultant involved.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and logs needed to connect voice and video sessions.
Voice and video calls are transmitted in real time and are not recorded by the App. Payment card details are handled by the store’s checkout and payment provider and are never received by the App.
2. How we use the information
- To provide the App: show consultants, connect chat, voice and video sessions, and generate astrology results;
- To confirm paid consultations and show session history to the merchant and consultant;
- To communicate with merchants about the App, including support and service notices;
- To secure, maintain and improve the App, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell personal information and do not use customer data for advertising.

Consultation details are shared with the merchant and the consultant involved. We may also disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests or protect our rights.
4. Data retention
- Merchant store details, settings and consultant profiles are kept while the App is installed.
- Chat messages and session records are kept while the App is installed so merchants and consultants can view history, unless the merchant deletes them earlier.
- Birth details are kept only as long as needed to show results to the customer and the consultant.
- When the App is uninstalled, we delete the store’s data within 30 days of receiving the platform’s data-erasure request (for Shopify, the
shop/redactrequest sent 48 hours after uninstall), unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
5. Your rights and data requests
Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the UK and other regions with data protection laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to processing. Customers of a store should contact the store (the merchant), who controls their data; we help merchants respond. We respond to the platform’s mandatory privacy requests (for Shopify: customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact) within 30 days.
For customer and consultation data, the merchant is the data controller and Fossil Apps acts as a data processor on the merchant’s behalf.
6. Where we store data
Fossil Apps is based in India. Data may be stored and processed in India or in other countries where our service providers operate. When personal information from Europe is transferred outside Europe, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and limited staff access to protect information. Chat and call connections are encrypted in transit. We will notify affected merchants of a data breach as required by law.
8. Children
The App is not intended for children under 18, and merchants should not offer consultations to children without parental consent where required by law.
9. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or legal requirements. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date.
